Moving towards 2025 at Amplitude

As 2024 comes to a close, Amplitude Event Solutions is thrilled to reflect on a year of remarkable achievements, unforgettable events, and industry recognition. From managing large-scale conferences to producing deeply moving commemorations, this year has been nothing short of extraordinary. Here’s a brief look at our milestones in 2024.

Army Expo 2024

For the third year running, Amplitude collaborated with the Ministry of Defence (MOD) to deliver the annual Army Expo. Hosted at Wellington Barracks in central London, this event offered a platform for military leaders and stakeholders to shape the Army’s future.

Key Highlights:

  • Immersive Experiences: Delegates explored realistic scenes with controlled environments, utilizing noise-cancelling headsets for focused engagement.
  • End-to-End Services: From creative design and event registration to AV management and post-event analysis, Amplitude ensured a flawless execution.
  • Resounding Success: Over five days, 1,200+ attendees, including the Defence Secretary and Chief of the General Staff, participated in 14 immersive shows. An astounding 89% of attendees rated the event 8/10 or higher.

A glowing testimonial from Lt Col J E Chandler emphasized our impact: “Thank you for your fantastic work during both the planning and execution of Expo 24. You and your team were simply amazing throughout the whole project.”

D-Day 80th Anniversary Social Media Activation

Amplitude was honoured to partner with the MOD to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day through a viral social media campaign. The project’s emotional centerpiece was a short-form video highlighting the personal connection between history and humanity.

The Narrative:

  • The video followed the journey of Marie, a 97-year-old former WREN, and Dave, a veteran London cabbie, as they revisited sites of military significance in Dave’s black cab.
  • Culminating at the Royal Naval College in Greenwich, the pair were surprised by the Countess of Wessex String Orchestra playing Marie’s favorite Artie Shaw tune.

Impact: The video achieved viral success, surpassing engagement goals and resonating deeply with audiences. MOD Communications Officer Talia Samuelson remarked: “It was so easy to work with you, and you really understood what we were trying to achieve from the off.”

Industry Recognition: C&IT Agency A-List 2024

A significant highlight of 2024 was one of Directors, Dan, being recognised by the C&IT Agency A-List 2024, recognising his outstanding contributions to the industry. While the award ceremony at the Amano Hotel in Covent Garden was held in person, it was a fantastic event and Dan keeps his award with pride on his desk.
