Amplitude has proudly collaborated with the Ministry of Defence (MOD) to deliver the Army Expo for the past three years. This annual event, attended by senior military figures and key decision-makers in the defence community, offers a comprehensive roadmap for the Army's future. Our work encompasses both the planning and execution phases, making us an integral part of the Expo team.
Our approach involves close collaboration with the MOD, ensuring a seamless and immersive experience for all attendees. This case study focuses on the recent Army Expo 24, which was hosted at Wellington Barracks in central London. With its proximity to iconic landmarks such as Whitehall and the Houses of Parliament, this venue provided a unique backdrop for the event.
Army Expo 24 was designed to be an immersive experience for delegates, featuring realistic scenes and controlled environments. Our services for this event included:
Delegates were equipped with noise-cancelling headsets, allowing us to direct their attention precisely where needed, whether to a soldier in hiding or a tank in motion. Our team managed the lighting to enhance focus on critical moments.
The success of Expo 24 was marked by 14 shows over a five-day period, hosting over 1,200 attendees. High-profile figures, including the Defence Secretary and the Chief of the General Staff, were among the participants.
Our post-event analysis revealed a remarkable 89% of delegates rated the event 8 out of 10 or higher, a testament to the meticulous planning and execution.
Our involvement extended beyond just the event's execution. We managed all aspects of the Expo, ensuring a cohesive and engaging experience for all attendees. The event's success was reflected in the overwhelmingly positive feedback and high satisfaction ratings.
“Thank you for your fantastic work during both the planning and execution of Expo 24. You and your team were simply amazing throughout the whole project, it was a real pleasure to work with you.”
